From the brand FreedConn, as one of the top motorcycle Bluetooth helmet brands, we always prioritize your riding safety and enjoyment. The upgraded Bluetooth 5.0 BM2-S and BM12 full-face motorcycle Bluetooth helmets are now available, offering enhanced connectivity and performance.

The Bluetooth 5.0 version operates differently from the previous Bluetooth 3.0 version, with the new version able to connect to the old version proactively, though the old version cannot connect to the new version passively. To preserve battery life, the helmets will enter a deep sleep mode if left unused for an extended period. Therefore, we suggest charging the helmets regularly, at least once a month, especially when not in use during the winter months. If the Bluetooth mode becomes unavailable due to this, you can try charging the helmet with a 6-12 volt charger for half an hour to wake it up. When charging the helmets, it is recommended not to press the USB charge cable completely into the port to protect the battery port. Regarding the battery, there is no indicator light, but the red light will flash every 2 seconds when the helmet is on and charging with a 5V charger. When the battery reaches a voltage level below 3.5V, the red light will flash every 15 seconds, and you will hear a beeping prompt, indicating the need for charging. If the voltage drops below 3.2V, the helmet will automatically turn off. To ensure proper battery maintenance, please charge the helmet regularly, at least once a month, when not in use for an extended period.

The full charge time for the helmets is typically 2-3 hours. When fully charged, the blue light on the helmet will flash every 2 seconds in the "ON" status. You can also test the charge by unplugging and re-plugging the helmet, and the red light will flash quickly once when charging under a fully charged status.
